A small gathering of family and friends witnessed the exchange of vows of Ryan and Elizabeth at their family home on the Sunshine Coast. A beautiful love story of meeting and parting and meeting again unfolded during their ceremony. Tears flowed but they were all happy ones. From this day forward, we wish them many decades of happy memories together. “When the night is the darkest there will always be my hand there for you to hold”
The sun was trying to shine through the palm trees but the love that shone out from Kate and Warwick would soften even the hardest heart. Warwick and the boys arrived and with the guidance of “their wedding co-ordinator – Heidi” they transformed the lawn in Palm Tree Court, Roma Street Parklands into a Wedding Lawn with colours of champagne and burgundy.
Kate arrived, fashionably late, on the arm of her Dad, Richard, and was handed into the arms of Warwick; who looked exceptionally handsome – as did the rest of the wedding party. They exchanged their vows in front of Montville Celebrant, Ruth Kuss.
Kate’s beautiful gown of ivory silk was the perfect choice as was her bouquet of burgundy calla lilies. When asked if she was nervous, she told her Mum she was just trying on her weddings dress to see how gorgeous it looked.
The sun shone and there were a few damp eyes, but no tears spilled, as they were pronounced husband and wife. Their beautiful day was captured spectacularly by Masterpieces Photography.
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon beside the Brisbane River when Callum and Melissa exchanged vows in front of their family and friends. Melissa’s son, Zac, stood proudly beside Callum as Melissa was escorted down the aisle by her daughter, Talia, and best friend, Toni. During the ceremony, Talia and Callum proudly did a special reading to their parents in honour of this very special ceremony.
When I met Audra she told me she was marrying the man of her dreams and marry him she did. With Jose’s Spanish heritage, their ceremony has a distinct Spanish touch with Audra’s beautiful white wedding gown embellished with black and red.
When Audra arrived, Jose’s eyes were filled with tears as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle to the music of the John Butler Trio singing “Fool for You”. Brisbane Powerhouse pulled out all stops for their laughter filled Cocktail Party and James Dean Photography captured their fun.
Such a beautiful couple, I wish them a wonderful life together.

The beautiful ceremony at The Broadway Chapel took years of organising with Conan constantly visting Jazel’s homeland to keep their love alive. Entering the Chapel on the arm of Conan’s Dad, Jazel looked slightly nervous, but radiant and smiling as she approached the Altar and her soon to be husband. Deciding they would be too nervous to have to say too much they choose a Candle Lighting Ceremony as a symbol of their lives now becoming one.
There were smiles all around, and a few tears, as they were pronounced husband and wife. Cheers went up as they exchanged their first kiss as Mr and Mrs.
A small group of family and friends, some from as far away as Melbourne, attended the marriage of Sapenh and Ross on the foreshores of Wellington Point Reserve. With the help of an Interpreter, Sapenh pledged her love for Ross. The happy couple enjoyed a BBQ reception before leaving for their honeymoon overseas. A further celebration will be held in Sapenh’s hometown in Croatia, for her family and friends unable to be present at their Australian ceremony.
The Beerwah Hideaway was chosen by Rachel and Nizar for their intimate wedding in front of close family and friends. The rain wouldn’t stay away but that didn’t dampen their spirit or love in their eyes as they pledged their love for each other.
A special touch was the addition of their “2 childen”, their precious dogs, Bear and Toby, taking pride of place on top of their wedding cake.
Testimonial: Thank you so much for our wedding ceremony yesterday it was amazing and you did a fabulous job. I can honestly guarantee, that if anyone is looking for a Celebrant, we will definately be letting them know about you”
It was a beautiful day for Keira’s Naming Ceremony and her 1st Birthday. Family and friends gathered at home to celebrate this very special occasion. The theme chosen was Butterflies and as the guests arrived a butterfly sticker was put on their cheek. Beautiful little Keira wore butterfly wings and had a butterfly motive on her cheek. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Jayden, her big brother, was given the honour of releasing two butterflies from their little net cage. As he released them they flew up above the guests and hovered overhead, which bought squeals of joy from all the little ones present.
If you’re trying to add something special there are a number of rituals that will enhance you ceremony. Handfasting, candles, music, love letter box and sand ceremonies – just to name a few. These rituals often include family members and guests.
